- Putiidhem (San Juan Capistrano): On behalf of the California Cultural Resources Preservation Alliance and Sierra Club, the firm challenged the installation of athletic facilities on this historic Juaneño/Acjachemem village and cemetery, resulting in a significant mitigation fee settlement.
- Asian Art Museum (San Francisco): The firm advised the Asian Art Museum Foundation regarding compliance with local, state, and federal historic preservation laws in connection with its renovation of the Old Main Library and relocation of the Piazzoni murals to the De Young Museum.
- Santa Ana Historic District: The firm represented Heritage Orange County in its successful efforts to preserve several historic buildings in downtown Santa Ana, including a railway station and a portion of a federal courthouse complex.
- Historic San Francisco Finger Piers: The firm drafted innovative state legislation (SB 815, 2006) creating new revenue opportunities for use by the Port of San Francisco to rehabilitate its threatened historic finger piers and other historic maritime buildings.
