Allison A. Johnson
Ms. Johnson joined the firm in 2015 as an environmental law fellow. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, with a Certificate of Specialization in Environmental Law.
During law school, Ms. Johnson served as Co-Chair of Berkeley Law’s California Water Law Symposium Committee, Co-Chair of the student-run Community Food Enterprises Project, and Co-Chair of GradFood, an interdisciplinary graduate student group. She was also an active member of Students for Economic & Environmental Justice and Ecology Law Quarterly. Her article, “‘Dear EPA’ or the ‘Bait and Sue’: Unraveling a Decade of Sewage Policy with a Letter,” was published in Ecology Law Quarterly in 2014. Ms. Johnson worked at Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger as a summer law clerk in 2014. She also interned at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, the Sustainable Economies Law Center, and Center for Food Safety.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Johnson served as an Organic Certification & Policy Specialist at CCOF Certification Services, one of the leading organic certification agencies in the U.S. Her work at CCOF included verifying compliance with national and international organic standards for organic processors, as well as policy research and implementation.
Ms. Johnson received a master’s degree in Gastronomic Sciences & Quality Products from L’Università degli Studi di Scienze Gastronomiche in Colorno, Parma, Italy in 2007. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005 with a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences.
Ms. Johnson is a member of the State Bar of California.
